About Me
Hi, I’m Jennifer! I’m a communications professional, designer, photographer, and aspiring actor with one thing connecting it all: a love for storytelling.
I grew up in North Texas and graduated third in my class from Northwest High School in 2014. From there, I attended the University of North Texas, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications and graduated summa cum laude.
My professional career began in graphic design and has grown into a decade of experience spanning branding, photography, marketing, social media, website management and strategic communications. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to help tell the stories of public schools and the people who make them special, from everyday moments in the classroom to major district-wide initiatives. My work has also been recognized with multiple TSPRA Star Awards for design and photography.
Storytelling for me doesn’t stop when the workday ends. I’m also pursuing acting, another creative outlet that challenges me in completely different ways while drawing on many of the same things I’ve always loved: creativity, curiosity and connecting with people.
Whether I’m behind a camera, in front of one, or lost in a creative project, I’m happiest when I’m making something meaningful. I’m a lifelong learner, a problem solver and someone who believes the best creative work starts with curiosity and a really good story.
